Our virtual Christmas extravaganza was filled with merry-making and plenty of spirt. Enjoy beautiful Christmas music by Jerald Arthur before the big man of the holiday himself jumps in to solve a problem. The Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts presents a puppet show of Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. Then Matt Schnittker brings us an old-fashioned magic lantern show about a lively snowball fight. Christmas elf, Michelle Richards, tells the story ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Museum of Make Believe shares a trailer of their golden age of radio series, “Strange Secrets of Starlight Park.” Of course, Santa has more to say! Then artist, Lori Meeker, brings us the “Legend of the Yulegarou” from the world of Meadowlark Falls. Legendary ornament designer, Joseph Walden, from the Christopher Radko company shares some behind the scenes secrets to the process of designing ornaments. We are then visited by a Charles Dickens character, Septimus Hicks, who tells us all about Narnia at Christmas. The Rosewood Barber shows us how to make a wonderful snow-capped Narnian treat. Santa solves another North Pole dilemma and then the Anaheim Ballet presents the “Carol of the Nutcracker.” Ceramic artist, Juliet Kurth, teaches us how to make our very own “Ghost of Christmas Past” ornament. The Original Toymaker closes out the night for us. Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!
